Hear, hear! Just been walking through Bradford, where a travel agent had “US Doller’s” (sic) for sale.
Done. I liked some of the replies. Fair made me chuckle they did.
I was amused by the defender of the apostrophe who wrote “Languages would be very difficult to learn if we did not have punctuation, so lets keep it.”
Indeed.
I was even moved to send a comment to the BBC; I don’t suppose it will be published, though.
