Tesco hides figures after missing target to reduce plastic bag usage
Britain’s biggest supermarket chain has published misleading figures giving the impression that it had met an industry target to halve the use of plastic bags.

I read about this yesterday. It’s disgusting, but what’s worse is the way they try to justify it.

It’s not as if they’re even making an effort to reduce the amount of rigid plastic and plastic film in packaging. Just lie to the consumer.
