I have no idea if they were lying, misinformed or have changed their policy.
Nevertheless I still have left over from the time I still wore contacts from Specsavers, a Bausch and Lomb Purevision Toric (balafilcon A) (Sph -2.25 Cyl -0.75 Ax 90 BC 8.7) continuous wear lens.
Whether this was a good idea I don’t know, because my eyes received insufficient oxygen from the standard torics over a period of time, which possibly contributed to me permanently being unable to wear them, after switching to continuous wear and having a particularly nasty cold.
